Two Slängpolskas (Juringius And Bruun)

Back from vacation here's a nice video I found on youtube:

Two nice slängpolskas from the south of Sweden.

The first one is from a sheet music book where a fiddler named Magnus Juringius was collecting and writing down tunes around the 1780s - 1790s. Juringius was from Kalmar, Småland.

The second slängpolska is after a fiddler named Johan Jacob Bruun. He was from Särslöv, Skåne.

Have fun.

Really nice sounding instrument. Is it a mandola? Looks quite short scale. I like the tunes - very vintage sounding!
