What a remarkable reunion. After being apart for more than 40 years Sweeney's Men reunited for this single concert at The Fiddlers Green Festival in Rostrevor, Co. Down in Northern Ireland 2007. Sadly Joe Dolan could'nt join them so Paul Brady stepped in and took his place.
I wish there were more videos of that event available. This is Sally Brown.
I hope for more videos like that as well. Great to see them playing together again and especially Johnny Moynahan who introduced the Bouzouki to the irish music. Give us more of that, please!!!
